Overview
Viral Trends ("the App") is a content creation tool that uses artificial intelligence to help you generate text and visual content for social media. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is processed, and your rights.
Data We Collect
- Prompts & text input: The topics, prompts, and text you enter to generate content (e.g., quote prompts, carousel topics, captions).
- Images: Photos you upload or select as backgrounds for AI-powered image generation.
- Device identifiers: Anonymous device ID for subscription management (via RevenueCat) and basic analytics.
- Usage analytics: App opens, feature interactions, onboarding and purchase events, device information, and generation usage counts. These are processed through Firebase Analytics and our Firebase backend and may be associated with an app or device identifier.
- Purchase information: Product identifiers, subscription and trial status, transaction events, and purchase amounts used to manage access and understand purchases. Payments are handled by the app store; we do not receive your card details.
- Country: We infer your country from your network address to localize content and understand usage. We do not request GPS location.
Third-Party AI Services
To generate content, your prompts and any uploaded images are sent to one or more of the following third-party AI providers:
We send this data to provide the AI features you request. Each provider's API terms and privacy policy govern its processing and retention.
We also use Google Firebase for app analytics and backend storage, and RevenueCat for purchase validation and subscription management.
How We Use Your Data
- To generate AI-powered text and visual content as requested by you.
- To manage your subscription and restore purchases.
- To improve the app, diagnose issues, and measure onboarding, feature usage, and purchase conversions.
Data Retention
- Prompts & images: Sent to AI providers in real time and not stored on our servers after the response is returned.
- Generated content: Stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your saved content.
- Usage and purchase records: Our backend retains events and usage records linked to app or device identifiers for analytics, service operation, and subscription support. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete these server-side records. You can request deletion using the contact address below; transaction records may be retained where needed for legal obligations.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We disclose the data needed to operate the app to the AI, hosting, analytics, and purchase-management providers described above. When you export or share content, it is sent to the destination you choose.
Your Rights
- You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the app.
- You can request information about or deletion of any data we process by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.
